From Ian:

Israel Confronts Iranian Aggression and Renewed Palestinian Terror
The most important and most dangerous challenge for Israel is the progress in the Iranian nuclear military program. There has been a sharp increase in the pace in which the Iranians are developing their program and the pace in which they are enriching uranium.

The Iranians are moving very fast towards having the capability to have enough fissile material for several bombs within a very short period of time. This means Iran is deep into the area where it can be called a threshold nuclear country.

There is a big debate among the experts about how much time it is going to take before the Iranians have the weapon itself. Some think it's going to take two years. I'm much more pessimistic because I think that the Iranians don't work in a linear way to first produce the enriched uranium and then start worrying about how to turn it into a bomb.

While Israel doesn't see eye-to-eye with the Americans on returning to the Iran nuclear deal, it does cooperate with the Americans on trying to convince the Iranians that moving forward is going to be dangerous. We are in the midst of a big military exercise in which Israel cooperates with the Americans in the modeling of an attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities.

Israel has been facing an increase in the number of Palestinian terror attacks in the last couple of months, which have gone beyond the usual level of terrorism. This has forced Israel to launch Operation "Break the Wave" and act in ways beyond what it was doing before, mainly in the Jenin area and the northern part of Judea and Samaria.

Perhaps the most disturbing issue that's happening in Israel is the rise of Palestinian nationalistic feelings and religious Islamic feelings among Israeli Arabs. The Arabs living in Israel don't go into the streets because they have some economic difficulties. This is a very minor element in the equation.
As Israelis, we should march proudly in our capital
Someone has to stop the insanity. Just like every other capital around the world, Jerusalem hosts mass marches. Of those held in the capital, the Flag Dance march is one of the oldest and most beautiful. Tens of thousands of religious Zionist youths, usually dressed in white, walk the streets of the eternal city, the same city generations of Jews have prayed toward. There is nothing wrong with that.

The only ones angered by the march are the last remnants of the Arab nation who continue to dream of wiping out the Jewish state. A majority of them reside in Israel and refuse to accept the ruler of the land. That is why they depict a beautiful march that represents the love of a people for their land as a provocation.

Unfortunately, too many Israelis are falling for this garbage. Instead of rejecting the threats of violence outright, they take them into consideration and are even willing to surrender to them. Worse still, for some reason, the diplomatic echelon discusses considerations for holding the march and on what route with foreign countries. That is unacceptable.

Does it sound reasonable to you for a country to ask its neighbors for permission to hold a march in its capital? Do Jordan, Egypt, or Qatar, update Israel on mass events in their territories? Does London, Paris, or Madrid receive authorization in advance from Washington for their marches, parades, and celebrations? When it comes to the flag march, things have gotten downright bizarre. And it's not paying off for us either.

US Embassy bans employees from Old City during Jerusalem Day, and previous Friday
The US Embassy in Jerusalem has issued restrictions to its employees and their families on entering the Old City ahead of Sunday’s contentious Jerusalem Day Flag March.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the embassy banned all US government employees, as well as their families, from entering the Old City at any time on Sunday, May 29, the day the march is slated to occur, and on the previous Friday, when there is higher Muslim turnout of prayers.

The embassy also told employees and their families that — at least through Monday — they cannot enter the Old City after dark. In addition, the statement said, employees cannot use Damascus, Herod’s, and Lions’ gates.

The ban is being instituted due to “ongoing tensions and potential security issues,” the embassy said, without explicitly naming the Flag March. The embassy also urged all US citizens in Israel to “remain vigilant and take appropriate steps to increase their security awareness” at this time.
Report: US Asked Israel to Reexamine Jerusalem Flag Parade Route
Senior US officials have asked the Israelis to reexamine the route of Sunday’s Jerusalem Day flag march through the Old City, Ynet News reports.

The Americans are concerned that the current route, which passes through Damascus Gate and the Muslim Quarter, could raise tensions and cause a flare-up.

Gaza-based terrorist groups Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have issued warnings to Israel about the parade.

Opponents of the flag march see the route through the Old City’s Muslim Quarter as a provocation, with supporters seeing it as an expression of Israel’s sovereignty over Jerusalem.

Organizers of the event on Tuesday said that attendance would be limited at specific points of the march, including at Damascus Gate and the Western Wall.

Attendance at the Western Wall will be limited to 16,000 participants.

David Collier: CNN find their ‘Dancing Israelis’
CNN – the ‘honest brokers’
Forget those CNN employees in the UK or US, who can do nothing but deal with what their information supply chain presents to them. They may or not have bias, but I cannot prove it is there. What matters are only those nearer to ground zero.

For example, a key CNN “witness” is Fatah lawmaker and former PNA Jenin Sec Jamal Huweil who said he “believed the shots were coming from one of the Israeli vehicles”. Here he is praising a recent terrorist attack in which four innocent Israelis were slaughtered:
Would you trust him? In fact, all of those ‘witnesses’ who contributed evidence were Palestinians. A reminder too that for some reason they all must have been near the site of an exchange of fire between the terrorists and the IDF. Maybe some even held guns at the time.

Then there are those who put the story together.

Zeena Saifi is a CNN Producer based in the UAE. According to her Facebook bio she is from Jordan. Her Twitter feed is full of negative news about Israel.

She never misses an opportunity to push news about Israel ‘storming Al Aqsa’, or ‘shooting’ someone. And there is not one single item that goes the other way. Not a single piece of positive news about Israel. EVER. Whilst her timeline is full of news about the shooting of the Al-Jazeera journalist, she never felt the need to tweet anything about the 19 dead Israelis who were butchered in the street. In fact, in a region with Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Qaeda and ISIS – the word ‘terrorist’ appears nowhere on her feed:

CNN terroristCelene Alkhadi is also in the UAE and also puts Jordan in her bio. The results from searching her timeline bring up exactly the same results as with Saifi. Not a single positive tweet about Israel can be found, but there is an endless choice of negative ones. The word ‘terrorist’ is never used and in the month where 19 Israelis were slaughtered in Israel – the only tweet Alkhadi put out was a human-interest story about a baby in Gaza.

Kareem Khadder is a Palestinian in East Jerusalem. Unsurprisingly his Twitter feed is even more one sided. Just relentless attacks on Israel. No mention of the terror attacks that left 19 Israelis dead. It is impossible to distinguish his feed from that of a Palestinian activist. He has posted from outlets such as Russia Today, Middle East Monitor and Mondoweiss:

These are the core Arabic speaking journalists CNN used to interview those Palestinian witnesses and send the information back to the London office for Gianluca Mezzofiore and Katie Polglase to rubber stamp. Is it any surprise CNN ended up claiming they’d found their ‘dancing Israelis’?

These are not journalists – when it comes to Israel they are activists wearing a press jacket. These people, just like 9/11 deniers – knew what they wanted to say and then set about constructing a faux scientific report to say it.
CNN’s Farcical Investigation Concludes Israel ‘Targeted’ Al Jazeera Journalist Shireen Abu Akleh
One can only imagine how credible CNN’s readers would find Huwail’s testimony if they knew that he described the terrorist who murdered four people in a vehicle ramming and knife rampage in Beersheba on March 22 as a “lone lion” who had “sounded the alarm of this criminal Zionist occupation.”

CNN proceeds to bolster its fantastical narrative with evidence from Chris Cobb, who the outlet calls an “explosive weapons expert.”

Using images provided by CNN, Cobb is reportedly able to ascertain that Abu Akleh was not killed by a “random shot,” but was “targeted.”

A quick search into Cobb’s background reveals that he is far from the independent expert that CNN suggests. Rather, he is an advisor to Forensic Architecture, which has produced numerous pseudo-scientific investigations into Israel that have reached provenly biased and misleading conclusions.

The aforementioned testimonies, as well as accounts from several Jenin residents, are what form the bulk of CNN’s piece, in addition to video footage that the publication itself admits “does not show Abu Akleh being shot.”

The fact remains that it is still not clear who killed Shireen Abu Akleh, whether it was a stray IDF bullet or fire from Palestinian gunmen who were attempting to prevent the arrest of terror suspects in Jenin. It is clear, however, that she was not targeted by Israel.

By uncritically publishing the uncorroborated and outlandish claims of individuals who clearly have an anti-Israel ax to grind, and then presenting them as the unalloyed truth, CNN has effectively targeted Israel for character assassination.

Israel Advocacy Movement: Shireen Abu Akleh debate

Indy corrects article on violence at Abu Akleh's funeral
However, the piece didn’t include any information at all about the Palestinian violence that preceded the police use of force.

Every other outlet we reviewed which covered the incident – including even the Guardian – noted either the police statement about the initial Palestinian violence, or other information based on the multiple videos which clearly show Palestinians throwing rocks and bottles at police before the confrontation began.

We contacted Indy editors, who upheld our complaint and added the following sentence into the piece:
The police said their actions were provoked by people among the mourners disrupting public order and throwing stones.

Further, the following editor’s note was added, noting the correction:
"WHO Singles Out Israel as Violator of Health Rights"
The United Nations’ World Health Organization (WHO) held a session on Wednesday singling out Israel, which was condemned in speeches by several countries including Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Turkey, Lebanon, and Cuba, for allegedly violating the health rights of the non-Jewish population in the Golan Heights.

By a vote of 77 to 14, with 36 abstentions, the WHO assembly adopted a resolution submitted by the Palestinian Authority and Syrian delegations, requiring the WHO to hold the same debate at next year’s assembly, and to prepare another report on the “Health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory, including east Jerusalem, and in the occupied Syrian Golan.”

The resolution was co-sponsored by countries such as Cuba, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Venezuela and Yemen.

Hillel Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based UN Watch, an independent non-governmental organization that monitors the UN, condemned the “cynical politicization of the world’s top health agency at the expense of focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic and other global health priorities.”

“Out of 28 items on the current world health assembly’s agenda,” said Neuer, “only one focused on a specific country—Israel.”

“There was no agenda item or resolution on any other country, conflict, civil war or political impasse. Nothing on Russia, which is responsible for more than 100 attacks on Ukrainian medical infrastructure as verified by the WHO; nothing on Syria, where hospitals and other medical infrastructure are deliberately bombed by Syrian and Russian forces; nothing on Afghanistan where the Taliban takeover has led to a collapse in basic health systems; and nothing on Ethiopia where more than five million people in Tigray are in dire need of humanitarian support, including health care, due to the conflict there,” said Neuer.

How The Biden Administration Is Getting Erdogan's Moves All Wrong
After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, when every sane country is staying away from wiring even a few cents to Russia, NATO "ally" Turkey is still talking about buying a second S-400 system.

The result? The U.S. is further appeasing [Turkish President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan.

Erdogan has long been playing the old oriental carpet-selling game: pitting potential buyers against each other to get the best price -- Turkey is hoping to be sold to the highest bidder.

The West's appeasement will just further embolden Erdogan to keep blackmailing it: If you do not sell me F-35s or F-16s, I will buy fighter jets from Russia. Erdogan then turns to Putin: I am your man in NATO. If you do not want me to be a real NATO ally, you must give me something. Erdogan's double-play has to be stopped. For that, is needed a determined Western bloc who will remind him that he will not get what he wants from his (theoretical) allies in the West by blackmailing them.

“In the Lion’s Den: Israel and The World” by Danny Danon
My friend of many years, Danny Danon, who formerly served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations and today serves as Chairman of the World Likud has just released a passionate book, “In the Lion’s Den: Israel and The World” which is a must-read for anyone interested in Israel and the Middle East.

The Book explores Danon’s struggles and successes as Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations during the Obama-Trump years. Obviously succeeding under two very different Presidents with completely different viewpoints when it comes to the Jewish State requires unique skills. In details which reveal behind the scenes strategy and planning, Danon describes the methods he used to counter the daily harsh and unjust criticism of Israel and how and why he was able to emerge triumphant on many occasions.

The book challenges the US’ role at the United Nations under the Obama administration, one which many have characterized as Anti-Israel. Danon uncovers the deception practiced by the US prior to Obama’s departure from office and describes some of the toughest moments for Israel as the country stood without support from its closest ally on the world stage.

The book’s complementary and powerful foreword is penned by Nikki Haley, America’s Ambassador to the UN from 2017-2019 and discloses the close relationship formed between the two from the outset. Danon explores further in the book the new opportunities generated by this new administration, as well as the unprecedented pro-Israel resolutions advanced during this period.

Before the politics and diplomatic revelations, Danon touches on intimate moments throughout his life. The reader learns about his fathers’ journey from Egypt to Israel and the poverty his father's family endured upon reaching the Jewish homeland. He reflects upon the unique challenges which faced Sephardic Jews emigrating to Israel, and reveals the trauma suffered by his father which deeply affected the family’s worldview and led Danon to take on a different role which subsequently influenced his outlook and vision for Israel.

“In the Lion’s Den” is Danon’s second book. Like the first, “The Will to Prevail”, it is a strong call-to-action, providing world Jewry with a toolkit to tackle anti-Israel hate, now and in the future.

One of the most fascinating parts of the book concerned Danon’s actions against United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, in December 2016 which stated that Israel's settlement activity constitutes a "flagrant violation" of international law and has "no legal validity". It demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an "occupying power."

Top Israeli university in hot water for hosting pro-Palestinian rally
Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday that he was looking at slashing the funding awarded to the Ben-Gurion University in the Negev after it hosted a pro-Palestinian event on campus.

Arab students held a rally on Monday marking "Nakba Day," when Palestinians mark the "catastrophe" of Israel's inception in 1948. During the rally, speeches were made that marked the creation of Israel as a "day of mourning," rejected Israel's existence as a democratic Jewish state and promoted armed resistance against the country.

A counter-demonstration was held at the same time by Israeli students, with both sides being kept separate by barriers, police, and campus security personnel.

"At a rally held at Ben-Gurion University, things were said and done that reject the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state," Lieberman, who heads the right-wing Yisrael Beytenu party, said.

Lieberman said he gave instructions "to examine the conduct of the university in order to exercise my authority to reduce its budget."

Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton said Monday that the images from the rally were "unbelievable," adding that the Council for Higher Education would examine the rally as potential incitement.

Beersheba Mayor Ruvik Danilovich denounced the event as a "disgrace."

PMW: PLO, PA TV promote world without Israel - even in TV quizzes
• Mount Meron in northern Israel is in “Palestine”
• The Sea of Galilee in northern Israel is “in Palestine”
• The Hula Lake in northern Israel is “in Palestine”
• The Red Sea at Israel's southern border is “in Palestine”
• “Palestine” is “27,000 sq. km.” – i,e., includes all of Israel

During the month of Ramadan, official PA TV entertained viewers with different quizzes. One evident goal was to reinforce the PA’s vision of a world without Israel by presenting all of the State of Israel as “Palestine.” The answers of the participants, who were all residents of refugee camps, confirmed that the PA policy of denying Israel's right to exist in any borders – which Palestinian Media Watch has shown the PA has taught to Palestinians for decades - has become rooted among Palestinians everywhere.

Correct answers denying Israel's existence were rewarded by the PLO Department of Refugee Affairs with 20 Jordanian dinars, approximately $28.

In one quiz, a participant was asked about the borders of “Palestine.” Without blinking an eye, the man cited “the Mediterranean Sea, the Jordan River, Lebanon, and the Gulf of Aqaba” as borders, completely ignoring Israel's existence:

Senior Fatah Official: We Must Give the US a Headache, Become a Concern in Every American Household
Fatah Central Committee member Azzam Al-Ahmad said in a May 24, 2022 interview on Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar) that the U.S. does not respect the law, but that it is nonetheless a superpower, and the Palestinians must give it a "headache" and become a household issue like Vietnam and South Africa were. In addition, he criticized the Arab regimes, saying that they follow American orders, and he warned that they will collapse if they abandon the Palestinians and their cause.

The Name of the Lebanese Play? The Aristocrats!
One of the most characteristic beliefs of Washington elites these days is that the true “meaning” of any particular event is always derived from large-scale “narratives” about headline topics like democracy, race, women’s rights, climate change, or criminal justice, which the particular case is supposed to illustrate. When the “narrative” contradicts the facts, it is the facts that are naturally expected to give way. What importance can a few stray facts possibly have next to the majesty and importance of a narrative that promises to end racism and war and save the planet?

To argue about whether yesterday’s hurricane was or was not an unusual weather event caused by burning carbon fuels in first-world countries is therefore to miss the point entirely: Facts don’t matter when confronted by the fierce urgency of a narrative beloved by the decent people who make policy in Washington. In this way, stories and parables that advance the priorities of policymaking elites become insulated from normal standards of proof. Instead, every piece of available evidence is selected to fit a predetermined pattern, which becomes reality in the minds of the narrative believers—who from the outside appear to behave suspiciously like members of a cult. What matters is that the narrative continue its progress through congressional committees that might appropriate funds that can be used to bribe local actors into shows of phony compliance that over time—who knows?—might even someday become real, too. Think of how true the narrative will be then!

In this way, even the most idiotic narrative, founded on the most absurd theories, can be gifted with a retrospective gloss of reality, as long as you don’t look hard at the facts. That is, until the entire house of cards collapses, as it did recently in Afghanistan.

Nowhere on the planet today is the gap between narrative and reality wider, and therefore under more constant pressure from elites in a wide range of countries, than in Lebanon, where the substitution of “narratives” for unpleasant realities may soon become the single largest component of the country’s GDP. Take the recent Lebanese elections, for example. The official results of the May 15 parliamentary elections had not yet been announced when English-language media reports declared the outcome to be a “major blow” to Hezbollah, the group that dominates that country.

Why? Because the fact-proof narrative in which there is a “country” called Lebanon that is separate from the control of Hezbollah naturally requires that result—and for the result to mean something. The election, the storyline went, showed that gains by reformist civil society and independent candidates reflected popular Lebanese discontent with the traditional political class. These anti-Hezbollah forces handed a stinging defeat both to Hezbollah and to the established parties, whom the people held responsible for the financial collapse in 2019. And in so doing these new representatives of the people manifestly weakened the terror group by stripping it of the majority it had held in parliament, which—in the narrative, at least—is a real institution through which power is distributed and exercised.
Seth Frantzman: Hezbollah's Nasrallah is struggling to stay relevant
How can Nasrallah stay relevant?
In his relatively short speech, Nasrallah claimed that Israel’s withdrawal in 2000 ended its dream of “greater Israel” and that Palestinians now have “hope again for liberation of their land.”

He then warned Israel not to tamper with al-Aqsa mosque. Shouting about the “danger” to al-Aqsa is one of the key grifts of Nasrallah and his friends: using imaginary religious threats to encourage extremism and populism.

Iranian media didn’t seem to take the speech seriously, but a bit of it was published.

“Any action against al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in the region will lead to a big explosion in the region and will have unpleasant results,” the Hezbollah leader said.

Overall, the speech was to be expected as part of the usual cycle of speeches that Nasrallah gives several times a year. Why this is different

The brevity of the speech and the fact Hezbollah and its allies performed badly in the recent elections, illustrates how the terrorist group will have to struggle to stay relevant in the coming years.

IRGC Colonel's Killing Highlights Israel's Shift in Tactics Against Iran
Iranian websites list Col. Hassan Sayad Khodayari as deputy director of the Quds Force's technological and weapons development, whose purview likely includes the flagship Iranian project to alter Hizbullah's rocket arsenal into precision missiles capable of striking Israeli targets. According to Israeli and Western intelligence assessments, Khodayari is actually a brigadier general and was very close to Revolutionary Guards commander Qasem Soleimani.

According to informed intelligence sources, Khodayari was in the advanced stages of carrying out three attacks on Israeli targets in several locations around the world. "These attempts will no longer be executed," said a senior Israeli security source. Israel will no longer ignore attempted attacks and intends to exact a price from those who dispatch them, even in the heart of their capital. Israel's counterterrorism campaign has spread from hitting Iranian facilities in Syria into Iran itself.
U.S. Leak on Israel's Role in Iranian Colonel's Death Could Harm Trust
Israeli officials were infuriated Thursday by a leak to the New York Times about Israel's role in the killing of a senior member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

"It mainly harms trust," MK Ram Ben Barak, a former deputy chief of the Mossad who heads the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said Thursday. "And when it is violated in some way, then it damages future cooperation."

Ben Barak denied that Israeli officials told their American counterparts that they were responsible for the killing. "As far as I know, we did not inform anyone or take responsibility, and that is for the best," he said.

Israeli officials told Ynet that they were demanding answers from their American counterparts and expressed concern that the report might lead to a spike in Iranian attacks against Israeli targets.
Why did US leak Jerusalem’s role in Iran officer death again? - analysis
The United States blowing Israel's cover
This is not the first time that the Biden administration has blown Israeli cover for an operation or leaked something about Israeli intelligence operations.

In the past, when the Biden administration did so it seemed to be in order to play good cop-bad cop, so that Washington could continue to negotiate with the ayatollahs over nuclear issues.

Does this mean that America is still aggressively seeking a nuclear deal with Iran despite what would seem to be irreconcilable disagreements over Biden's refusal to delete the IRGC from the US terrorist list?

Regardless of why the US leaked Israel's alleged role and regardless of to what extent Iran may respond directly against Israeli or Jewish interests, the fact is that Iran will remain on the defensive.

Any time in recent months that Iran upped the ante by using drones or cyber warfare, Israel has allegedly counterattacked with much greater force and consequences.

The message is clear: whether there is a new nuclear deal or not, if Iran tries to cross the nuclear threshold or escalates in its violence against Israel, the consequences will be dire.
Iran: Zionist control of US dooms JCPOA talks, other options on table
The Zionist control of United States policy has prevented the revival of the nuclear deal, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday, and warned other options were on the table.

“We have intelligence that the Zionist regime has taken the foreign policy of the US hostage,” Amir-Abdollahian charged during a public interview he gave Fareed Zakaria of CNN at the World Economic Forum in Davos.Amir-Abdollahian used the word Zionist as an alternative designation for Israel.

“If the American side will decide realistically, then the deal is at hand,” Amir-Abdollahian said, adding that this is why Israel had come up with false stories about his country.

Amir-Abdollahian blamed Israel for over-dramatizing the US decision, leaked to Politico this week, to keep Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on its Foreign Terror Organizations list.

The story was publicly confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who said US President Joe Biden had informed him of this decision already last month.
Bennett: Iran’s Systematic Deception of the IAEA is a Wake-Up Call to the World
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett accused Iran on Wednesday of systematically deceiving the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Bennett was commenting on a report published on Wednesday by the Wall Street Journal, which claimed that Iran had “secured access” to secret IAEA reports nearly two decades ago and circulated the documents among top officials, who “prepared cover stories and falsified a record to conceal suspected past work on nuclear weapons.”

The report, citing Middle East intelligence officials and documents, revealed what it said were some of the tactics Tehran used with the agency, which is tasked with monitoring compliance with nuclear non-proliferation treaties, as well as the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal.

“The exposure of Iran’s systematic program to deceive the IAEA—which was based around documents that Iran stole from the IAEA—is a wake-up call to the world. This is additional proof of Iranian efforts to advance toward achieving nuclear weapons,” said Bennett.

“The systematic policy of fraud, theft and concealing evidence by Iran against the IAEA should now become a definitive fact in the eyes of the international community,” he added.
I've Been Writing on Israeli Intelligence for Ages - Then Iran Tried to Kidnap Me
On Nov. 23, I received a WhatsApp message inviting me to a conference at the Center for Security Studies in Zurich.

I have been invited to international conferences for decades, but I wondered why the head of a Swiss institute sent me a WhatsApp message from a phone number in Pennsylvania.

Last week the Israel Security Agency announced it had uncovered an operation by Iranian intelligence, and the Revolutionary Guards Quds Force targeting Israeli academics and former defense officials.

One academic traveled to Switzerland, and the ISA alerted him and advised him to return to Israel immediately.

Identity theft or the use of fake profiles is just one of many methods that Iran employs to spy on Israel and to abduct and kill Israelis.
'Accident' on Iranian base leaves 2 dead, several wounded
An explosion at an Iranian military facility has left two people dead and several others wounded, the country's media reported Thursday.

The Tasnim news agency cited Iranian officials as saying that an "industrial accident" had taken place in one of the facilities on the Parchin military base, resulting in several casualties.

Other Iranian media outlets reported that an explosion took place at the heart of the military compound, killing two "military experts."

The Intellitimes intelligence blog cited media reports alleging that the explosion was the result of a drone strike.

Parchin is a large military complex located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) southeast of Tehran. It is closely linked to the Islamic republic's missile program and is also believed to house sites associated with the Iranian nuclear weapons.

While Iran denies any nefarious activity is taking place at the complex, it consistently denies International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors access to the site.

Iranian Anti-Regime Activist: Arab Countries Must Act Against Iran Like It Acts Against Them
London-based Iranian opposition activist Dr. Abu Muntasir Al-Baloushi said in a May 20, 2022 show on the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Channel 9 (Turkey) that Iran should be reverted to its "Sunni days" and that it has only been a "curse" since it became Shiite. He criticized the "blood thirsty" IRGC and Iran's proxy militias in the region and said that the Arab countries should act against Iran in a fashion similar to how Iran acts against them.
